The Tallest of Smalls, by Max Lucado, Illustrated by Maria Monescillo. We all want to be special. We want to fit in, to belong, to be more. This incredible book addresses this need. We follow a story of a boy named Ollie who wants to be selected for something that would make him special. Once he is selected he finds out the true meaning of what it means to be loved by God.

The way that the story rhymes, reminded me of a Dr. Seuss book. The illustrations are fantastic. It is a book that I would buy for my kids and kids that I know. It is a powerful message that the kids will want read to them over, and over again. Thanks Max Lucado for another awesome children’s book.
